Bhaskar Shetty has joined BASF in Mumbai, India, as Business Development Manager within the Intermediates division. Shetty holds a PhD in medicinal chemistry and has a master's degree in organic chemistry. With over 15 years of in-depth and valuable experience in process development and business development, his responsibility is to find new business opportunities for intermediates, chiral and achiral molecules in the pharmaceutical sector in India. Bhaskar Shetty was born in 1972, is married to Arathi and has two sons.

Jian-Feng Jiang has joined BASF in Shanghai, China, as Sales Executive of the Intermediates New Business Development team. Jiang has a master’s degree in organic chemistry and a bachelor's degree in chemistry education. With many years of knowledge and experience in synthesis, isolation, separation and characterization techniques he is able to support BASF's pharma customers in China. Having knowledge of product costing and its use in the development of chemical process routes Jian-Feng Jiang will now be part of the New Business Development team.
